Work ethic is about taking accountability for actions and their outcomes. Being professional and consistent when it comes to the performance part. Always maintaining integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
Work ethic was often shaped by office culture where employees had clear visuals of performance. With the flexibility remote work offers, employees need a strong internal drive to maintain productivity and meet deadlines without the usual office culture.
Conflict Resolution
Conflict Resolution refers to resolving disputes constructively and independently. To facilitate communication, ensure fairness, and guide the team towards mutually beneficial solutions. To maintain harmony and prevent small issues from turning into bigger ones.
Conflicts and negotiations were often addressed in person, where nuances and emotions were easier to tackle. Remote work requires more careful thought and precision in communication because people have to rely on written words and virtual meetings to resolve issues.
